A designer's perspective to"Hindustani classical music"
The experience of sketchnote- taking has always been incredibly rewarding for me; I enjoy capturing conversations on paper and determining how they flow. I readily embraced the flow of lessons as we narrowed our view of this ancient art and linked ideas, thoughts, and observations as we went along in this course of "Hindustani classical music" for design students.
This accordion book is designed to serve as a catalyst and to aid from a live session of classical music from the perspective of a designer.
As both the art form; classical music & accordion book making are free flowing in nature and have alot in common.
Hindustani classical music is still a pragmatic traditional system of music. Its antecedents originate from the 12thcentury when the classical heritage of southern Indian subcontinent Carnatic music was delineated. | The caption reads, pages, notes took a week to materialise. | This media popped up to be a suitable alternative for me to capture both our convos and my personal ideologies. |

The fact that this book provides me with sufficient space to explore new pathways after the module, which I am looking forward to doing (sketching them down), as well as the fact that it invites me to backtrack to where it all came into existence. |
