MRUDAA in Hindi means SOIL.

Hindi is one of the most commonly spoken languages in India; where there are alot of tribals and localities who worship the soil, in-fact festivals involve an idol of the deity made up of soil and later its immersion takes place as a part of rituals. The reason why soil is used has alot to do with the idea of it being Mother Nature's gift to man kind. its her best design one could say. In-fact not just in India, but alot of places around the globe humans have been worshipping the soil for generations.

.why is it worshipped?

SOIL is a living entity, a diverse ecosystem that is one of the most complex on the planet; it provides —food production, water purification, greenhouse gas reduction, and pollution cleanup, to name a few.
